Heartland Spice Trader Shiraz Cabernet
Heartland Spice Trader Shiraz Cabernet QWine 90 Points
Spice Trader by name. Spice Trader by nature. A good midweek quaffer.
A delicious blend (52/48) with tempting aromas of cherry ripe, blackberries, kicks of earth and peppery spice. The fruit ticks the box with some of the older oak poking through (1-3 year old used). Mintiness shoulders its way to the fore on exit as does dried Mediterranean herb. A good pick for those looking for a decent drop without burning a hole in their wallet.

Heartland Spice Trader Shiraz Cabernet 2014 Halliday Rating 90 Points
"Easy-going, undemanding, and ultimately quite satisfying. This is a wine which does its job very well. It offers ripe berry aromas, a touch of spice, a hint of chocolate and warm earthiness on the bouquet. The palate is soft, although quite mouthfilling, with slightly sweet-toned fruit which has a definite regionality about it. Right on the money for its place in the market."
